"As for Mary, she treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart" (Luke 2:19)
These remained faithful to the teaching of the Apostles, to the brotherhood, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers (Acts 2:42)
Our Community consists of core members and several associate members. The core members of our Community are men who were disciples of Br. Victor, and to whom he imparted his spirituality and charism. They have taken private vows of celibacy and lead a Community life. (Acts 4:32)
The associates consist mainly of families, adults and youth who share in the spirituality of the Community. Among the unmarried adults, some have the vocation to lead a celibate life and these members commit more of their time to help in the activities of the Community. Some associates are active in their parishes as Eucharistic Ministers or doing other voluntary work. Even though the members involve in various ministries, our common spiritual exercises unite us as one Community.
Several youth members are very actively involved in the life of the Community. They make an enthusiastic effort to follow the Spiritual exercises and to take part in the weekly prayer meetings in spite of their busy academic schedules. Many priests and nuns from different parts of the world support our Community spiritually by their constant intercession and advice. They have been a source of great encouragement and inspiration to continue our mission.
Becoming a member
He replied, ‘Come and see’; so they went and saw where He lived, and stayed with Him that day. (John 1:39)
Our Community is open to all people whom God leads to us (Acts 2:47) – who desire to learn and grow in the Catholic Faith. People who come into contact with us receive a taste of our spirituality through the prayer meetings, Bible classes and spiritual counselling sessions that we conduct and they are free to continue as our associates by remaining in our spirituality. All our associates are constantly encouraged to remain faithful to the grace of God and grow in virtue by following our spiritual exercises.
