Is this not the reason why you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures, nor the power of God? (Matthew 22:29)

God’s Word is all-powerful. It can penetrate into the human heart and is able to destroy all falsehood (Hebrews 4:12-13; Jeremiah 23:29). It is by His powerful Word that God created the whole universe out of nothing. (Hebrews 1:3)

When we treasure the Word of God within us, we become strong. (1John 2:14)

If the Word of God does not abide in us, we will have neither life nor power. (Jeremiah 5:13)

The Word has the power to drive out devils and cure all kinds of diseases and sicknesses. (Matthew 8:16)

Above all, the Word of God has the power to save our souls. And so, leaving behind every impurity and rank growth of wickedness, humbly welcome the Word which has been planted in you and can save your souls. (James 1:21)
